Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Estia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility and Compliance
You are responsible for using Estia in compliance with applicable laws, including laws related to recording, consent, and data protection in your jurisdiction.
Service Description
Estia provides speech transcription, translation, and enhancement features in online and offline modes. Quality, speed, and availability may vary by language, device, network conditions, and third-party provider availability.
Recording and Consent Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for obtaining any required notices and consents before recording or processing other people's voices or content with the app.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Estia offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions for premium features.
- Payments are billed through Apple to your Apple ID account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage, change, or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
- Pricing, free trials, billing, and refunds are handled according to Apple's terms and policies.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Estia for illegal, fraudulent, or infringing activity.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or attempt unauthorized access to Estia or related systems.
- Do not use Estia in ways that violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
Third-Party Services
Estia may use third-party services (for example, Apple services, transcription/translation providers, analytics, and billing providers). Those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual Property
Estia, including its software, branding, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for personal or internal lawful use.
Disclaimers
Estia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Transcription and translation outputs may contain errors, omissions, or delays. Do not rely on Estia for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Estia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Estia if these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
